REC / 1998 / DOCUMENTED
Seventeen days
in July.
Digital Paint split from Quake Innovations on July 8. Fresh Quake II game code, more than 200 textures, four colors, multiple flags—and a public beta before the month was over.
Team eR33t // origin server online
What began as a Digital Paint clan became a twenty-year crew, a live Discord, and the origin server that taught AlexAI how to be a teammate.
01 / THE LIVING EVIDENCE WALL
The record is release notes beside trash talk, tournament rules beside wounded recollection, dead image hosts beside matches nobody forgot.
Documented fact, participant memory, and clan lore stay close here—but they never become the same thing.

REC / 2003 / INFRASTRUCTURE
By 2003, er33t.com was distributing Linux server files. Later, reservable match boxes became neutral ground, tournament infrastructure, logs, admins—and the promise that the match could happen at all.

Maps became oral tradition. Demos made rivalry inspectable. A ramp, ladder, barrel, or ledge was a question passed between generations: can you make the jump?
REC / 2004 / DESIGN CONSTRAINT
“If it changes the jump,
it changes the game.”
Blitz defended readable color, useful vertical differences, and the airborne confidence competitive players learned to trust. New light may transform the room. It does not get to erase the route.
Read the 2004 discussion02 / TWO TAGS. ONE WITNESS.
Team <iP> and Team eR33t were separate clans. The arrow is personal: one player carried competitive memory from one era into another.
Archive note: The surviving indexed record cannot establish a complete <iP> roster or an exact eR33t founding date. Missing pages are not permission to invent them.
Asked for the best clan, Blitz answered with four characters.

Asked if eR33t belonged in the argument, Blitz answered with six words.

03 / CURRENT TEAM eR33t
This is Team eR33t today: the people keeping the Discord loud, the archive honest, and AlexAI socially overclocked.

Inspect the 2011 record04 / THE RESIDENT INTELLIGENCE
Not a generic chatbot wearing a clan tag. Alex is eR33t’s memory-backed Discord intelligence: a voice-capable teammate with approved context, public receipts, creative tools, and the unfortunate burden of remembering the room.
05 / AN UNFINISHED TRANSMISSION

The third chapter
is being built.
DP3: Repainted is an independent, non-commercial attempt to carry Digital Paint’s one-shot tension, impossible routes, and team-first arenas into path-traced light—without forgetting why anyone learned the jump.
No countdown. No preorder. No pretend certainty.
06 / SOURCE LEDGER
The archive remains open to correction. Bring demos, screenshots, logs, first-person memory—and a label for which kind of evidence it is.
NEXT TRANSMISSION // eR33t GAMING DISCORD
Join the crew, meet AlexAI, follow DP3 when there is something real to show, and contribute to the next twenty years of questionable judgment.
